The translation of the AITSL Standards into observable leadership practices provides greater clarity about what effective leadership looks like in action. It supports leaders to move beyond the standards as concepts, making them visible through practical, day-to-day behaviours within their context. This work strengthens alignment between professional standards and the Leadership Competency Framework, supporting a shared and consistent understanding of effective practice across DOBCEL. Final touches are being made to the middle leader standard and work is due to commence on the principal standard later this year.
