The Diocese of Ballarat Catholic Education Limited (DOBCEL) is seeking an inspiring and visionary Catholic leader to become the Foundation Principal of its new Catholic Primary School in Winter Valley.
Planned to open in January 2028, the school will serve one of Ballarat's fastest-growing communities and provide a contemporary Catholic education experience grounded in faith, belonging and educational excellence.
The successful applicant will commence in January 2027, providing a unique opportunity to lead the establishment of the school and shape its vision, culture, identity and foundations well before the first students walk through its doors.
As the first new Catholic primary school established in the Ballarat region in nearly a decade, the Winter Valley school represents an exciting milestone for Catholic education and reflects the aspirations of the DOBCEL Strategy 2035.
