New Faces at DNA College Junior School

This year, we are thrilled to introduce some new members to our Junior School family. Please join us in welcoming:

  • Mr. Michael Johnson, our new Science teacher, who comes to us with a wealth of experience in making science engaging and fun.
  • Ms. Olivia Reynolds, who will be teaching third grade. Ms. Reynolds is passionate about literature and creative writing.
  • Mrs. Hannah Petal, our new Junior School Counselor, here to support students with any social, emotional, or academic concerns.

We are excited to have these talented educators join our team and look forward to the positive impact they will have on our students.

Reading Challenge Kick-Off

Reading is at the heart of learning, and this year, DNA College Junior School is launching an exciting Reading Challenge! Students are encouraged to read as many books as possible throughout the school year. Each book read earns points, and students can win prizes, including certificates, books, and a grand prize of a Kindle e-reader for the top reader in each grade.

The challenge officially kicks off on September 1st. We encourage all students to participate and discover the joy of reading!

Junior School Science Fair

Our young scientists are already busy preparing for the upcoming Junior School Science Fair, set for October 10th. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to explore scientific concepts, conduct experiments, and present their findings. Projects can range from simple demonstrations to more complex experiments, and we can't wait to see the creativity and curiosity of our students on display!

Parents are welcome to attend and see the amazing projects our students have been working on. More details will be provided closer to the date.

Art in the Park Event

Art lovers, mark your calendars! On September 25th, DNA College Junior School will host the annual "Art in the Park" event, where students' artwork will be displayed in the school's garden. This year's theme is "The Colors of Nature," and students have been busy creating beautiful paintings, sculptures, and crafts inspired by the natural world.

Families are invited to join us for an afternoon of art, music, and refreshments. This is a great opportunity to celebrate our students' artistic talents and enjoy a lovely day outdoors.

Sports Update

Our Junior School sports teams are off to a great start! The DNA Dragons soccer team has won their first three matches of the season, and the basketball team is gearing up for their first game next week. We encourage all students to join a sports team or club, as it's a fantastic way to stay active, learn teamwork, and make new friends.

Go Dragons!
