Individuals with a passion for strengthening rural and regional Australia are encouraged to apply for the 2026 Tim Fischer Fellowship, a prestigious initiative of the Country Education Foundation (CEF).
Inspired by the values of the late Tim Fischer AC, the Fellowship supports people with bold ideas that use education as a catalyst for positive change. The successful recipient will receive up to $50,000 in funding, along with mentorship, leadership development opportunities, and access to a valuable network of contacts to help bring their project to life.
The Fellowship is open to Australians aged 18 years and over from all professional backgrounds and career stages. Projects may focus on communities, workplaces, young people, students, research or other educational contexts, provided they demonstrate the potential to create meaningful impact in rural and regional Australia.
The Fellowship aims to recognise and support individuals committed to improving opportunities for regional communities, while inspiring broader change through education, innovation and leadership.
